On cold days like these, there’s nothing quite like warming up with a nice hot coffee. Thankfully, Broderick Tower residents only need to take a few steps outside to find some of the best brewed in town at Chez | Zara, located next door in the M@dison building.
Established in 2009, Chez | Zara prides itself on offering only the highest quality products. The so called “coffee snobs” will agree, you can certainly taste the difference in a freshly brewed cup of Joe that’s made from organic and locally roasted beans. And if you’re looking for something more filling to go with your drink, C | Z offers sandwiches from Fresh Corner Cafe delivered daily, and they will soon be carrying soups from Mudgie’s Deli.
The cafe has a cozy yet modern feel to it, which makes it a popular place for getting a little work done using the free Wi-Fi or just catching up with friends. In the spring they’ll have outdoor patio seating, and I’m told the large windows that surround the place slide open for an al fresco feel. Oh, and you can control the music from their virtual jukebox using your smartphone – how cool is that?
So whether you’re coming in for a fresh pour over or to indulge in their famous Nutella latte, you’re sure to find something delicious to warm you up.
Broderick residents – if you haven’t used the free Chez | Zara coffee coupon from your welcome packet yet, this chilly weekend is looking like the perfect opportunity to do so.
Chez | Zara is open 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on weekdays, and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekends. They will offer extended hours for private events and home games.
